MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Welcome home! I'm Amy Calahan, the face behind Amy C Photography. My love for photography began when I was 16. My dad bought me a camera with hopes that I would start my own photography business and I knew quite literally nothing about ANYTHING then. I also work as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant working in the most rewarding profession I could ever imagine. I spend some of my days working for one of the largest inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in the US. While my lifelong goal is to work in the medical field and help people during their most vulnerable times, photography helps me balance my occupational lifestyle and is an outlet for me to step away from the scrubs and hospital. It allows me to make you feel beautiful, capture your wins or successes, teach you to be yourself, and show you how to be confident in your skin. 5 years later, I am confident in my abilities as your photographer and have 100% taught myself everything I know. I never thought that I could do 2 careers that would fulfill my heart in such rewarding ways, but I'm so thankful to be where I am today. I cannot wait to help create your magic! You will hear it again, but I am here to serve you and be your friend who happens to have a camera.
